Shelby County is home to breathtaking trails and outdoor recreation opportunities, but did you know about the abundance of artists and art attractions that call Shelby County home? The Shelby County Arts Council in Columbiana is an artist hub at the County Seat. From concerts to gallery exhibits to larger-than-life installations, this state of the art facility is a celebration of the arts. Montevallo is a unique city that has centered itself around the arts. From Orr Park where the Tinglewood Tree Carvings blend nature and creativity, to the Center for the Arts that serves as a launching pad for creativity at the University of Montevallo.
