Cheers to all the dad's out there! Join the Father's Day express train ride at the Heart of Dixie Railroad Museum in celebration of Father's Day on Saturday, June 17th. Train Departure Times:  10:00 am, 1:00 pm, 3:00 pm Board the Calera and Shelby Railroad for a ride through the woods of Shelby County. The train ride will last approximately 75 minutes in total. Boarding for the train will begin 15 minutes before the scheduled departure times. Helena Market Days is a venue for local farmers and producers to sell fresh vegetables, flowers, honey, bread, woodworking, handmade bread, peanut butter, jams, jellies, soaps, baked goods and more. We also have coffee and teas and something new all the time to sell directly to residents of Helena, Alabama and its neighboring cities. We also support local non-profits by featuring a different non-profit each weekend for fundraising and mission awareness purposes. A different musician appears every weekend and we have Chef Demos as well. Helena Market Days occurs every Saturday from the first weekend in June through the last weekend in August. Our market is located in The Church at Old Town. The address is 815 Hwy 52 East, Helena, Alabama, directly across the street from City Hall. Market hours are 8 a.m. until 12 p.m. This is a rain-or-shine event except in the case of severe weather.
