Another Calera Main Street First Friday festival is set for July 4th in Downtown Calera. The community is invited to celebrate Independence Day with a bang on Main Street! This year, July’s “First Friday” will fall on Thursday to launch the long holiday weekend. TNT Fireworks and Calera Parks and Rec are sponsoring this summer holiday festival. Guests can expect an outstanding fireworks display after dark made possible by TNT Fireworks. As the most widely attended festival of the year, guests can expect a variety of vendors, food, fun, and activities. People are encouraged to bring chairs to enjoy live classic rock, blues, and country music by Saturday’s Child, on the Discover Shelby stage, and hang out after dark for all the explosive fun!
