Mardi Gras Party

Join us on February 17, 2024, at 7:00 PM in the Grande Hall at Old Mill Square in Columbiana, AL, for a Mardi Gras Party Fundraiser benefiting the Shelby County Arts Council. The event runs from 7:00 PM to 10:00 PM, with doors opening at 6:30 PM. This lively fundraising Mardi Gras PARTY features live music by the Chuck King Band, delicious hors d'oeuvres, and exciting auction items. Feel free to wear your dancing shoes and, if you'd like, Mardi Gras attire! The event's proceeds support SCAC programs like "Writing our Stories," Art Therapy with the Arc of Shelby County, and scholarships for SCAC classes and programs. The Alabama Cycling Association (ACA) is a 501(c)(3) organization with a mission to get more kids on bikes. We are a youth development organization with a commitment to redefining what a youth sports program is all about. We provide coaching and camaraderie to students who love mountain biking. Our goal is to help middle school and high school kids achieve both competitive and non-competitive cross-country mountain biking skills in a safe and enjoyable manner.

National NTRP 40 & Over Doubles

Helena United Festival

3rd Annual Spring Fling Family Food Truck Fest

Swinging Fore Achievement

The 10th Annual Swinging Fore Achievement Golf Tournament will be held on May 16th at Ballantrae Golf Club. Lunch will be provided beginning at 11:30am with the Shotgun Start at 1:00 pm. The entry fee for individual players is $150 or play as a team for $600. There will be prizes for the top 3 teams of the tournament. The entry fee includes green fee & golf cart, pre-round practice balls, lunch, Ballantrae Course Yardage Book and a goodie bag. Corporate sponsorships are available! This event benefits The Arc of Shelby County, which serves individuals with intellectual and developmental disabilities in Shelby and Chilton Counties.
