Salt Clothing Co.

Chelsea native Madison Hardenbergh and her mother-in-law, Amanda Hardenbergh have taken Shelby County by storm with their new clothing store, Salt Clothing Co. The duo opened the store in 2023 and since then they have brought fresh new fashion options to the residents of Shelby County, all while running the business themselves. Madison knew she loved fashion, but could not decide on a career for herself after graduating from college. Although teaching was an option, ultimately, Madison chose to follow her passions and she and her mother-in-law turned their dreams into reality by opening Salt Clothing.

Their store boasts a wide array of the newest trends in women’s fashion. From dresses and skirts to pants and shirts, Salt Clothing is one of Shelby County’s trendiest clothing boutiques. Madison and Amanda attribute the success they have found with Salt Clothing to the wonderful and inviting Shelby County community whom they give credit for a good bit of their success. Through hard work and determination, Madison and Amanda have paved the way for other women who want to pursue their passions and do what makes them happy for a living. Bertolone’s Classic Italian

When you think of classic Italian restaurants, images of steaming plates of your favorite pasta dishes, aromas of mouthwatering cooking, and a warm inviting atmosphere probably come to mind. That is far from all Bertolone’s Classic Italian restaurant in Weatherly has to offer. Sonia Bertolone’s father got into the restaurant business years ago, but after his passing, Sonia knew she had to continue the legacy of culinary excellence and keep a restaurant of her own. Thankfully, she chose to open Bertolone’s right in her backyard in Shelby County.

Sonia and her team of chefs, managers, and wait staff have kept the tradition of excellence her father started alive. Sonia has come into her own as one of Shelby County’s most prominent restaurant owners. It is a testament to her hard work and dedication to providing something that she can be proud of to the people of Shelby County. Look out for the Bertolone’s sign next time you’re heading north on I65 and Stop by in Weatherly to see why Sonia is so revered in the community. The food is second to none, the atmosphere will have you coming back, and the flawless execution of lunch and dinner service reflects Sonia’s deep dedication to making her business the best it can be for the community she cares so deeply for.
