World Police and Fire Games – Cross Country

This is what determination looks like. In the Cross Country event, runners from around the world power through grass, hills, and woods in long-distance race against time, and themselves. It is a great event for families to enjoy a beautiful day outside, cheer international first responders, and maybe even inspire the next generation of runners. Kids can see that being a hero doesn’t always mean flashing lights. It can mean pushing yourself to the finish line, no matter how tough the trail.
