Stephens Park features a lighted sports complex with five fields used for baseball and softball. The complex has batting cages and a concession stand building with restrooms. The park has a fishing lake and a nearly 3/4 mile long paved trail used for walking and biking. In addition, the park is the northwestern trailhead for the Montevallo Parks Trail which encompasses nearly two miles between Stephens Park and Orr Park in downtown Montevallo.

The park is maintained by the City of Montevallo.
