Come and enjoy a beautiful start to the weekend in downtown Montevallo at Owl's Cove Park for live entertainment starting at 6:30pm on Friday, June 30th! This is a family-oriented and free event. Feel free to bring chairs, blankets, and get ready to listen to the music! "DRUM the Program" will be the live entertainment and they will be bringing a series of West African drumming and dancing (Sponsored by Alabama Public Television).

3rd Annual Spring Fling Family Food Truck Fest

Montevallo Main Street, Impact Montevallo, and DRUM the Program invite you to experience our 3rd Annual Spring Fling Family Food Truck Fest! From noon to 6 PM on Saturday, April 27, join us on Island Street at the Orr Park Pecan Grove (940 Island Street) to grab lunch or an early dinner from one of our featured food trucks--to be announced! This fest will be fun for the whole family. Activities include: • Drum classes led by DRUM the Program's Abou Sylla (www.syllamusic.com) from 1-1:30 PM and 3-3:30 PM • Inflatable Bounce House • Obstacle Course • Face Painting • Music • Main Street Coloring Sheets • And more! This event is free admission. It is also "rain or shine."
