The Pelham Racquet Club hosts an annual USTA Pro Circuit women's tournament, which is sanctioned by the International Tennis Federation. Typically a $25,000 event, the ITF and USTA chose to elevate it to a $60,000 event in 2022.
The award-winning trails of Oak Mountain State Park are set to host one of the biggest events on the 2023 calendar as the 2nd stop of the XTERRA World Cup, the XTERRA Americas Trail Run Championships and the live-broadcast Short Track race all collide in a weekend-long festival of off-road racing.
