Experience Oak Mountain State Park like never before during MammothMarch! There's a reason this event has sold out three years in a row. On April 18th or 19th, event participants will challenge themselves on a 20 mile hiking adventure in under 8 hours. 

Regions Tradition - April 29 - May 3

2026 marks the 10th year of Regions Tradition at Greystone Golf & Country Club. This event has brought talented PGA Champions to the Greater Birmingham area to showcase their talents, but more importantly, it has showcased the heart and generosity of the tour with the millions donated to Children's of Alabama and other likeminded charities. This event is spectacular to experience and its impact is long-lasting!

XTERRA North American Championship - May 15-17

The XTERRA North American Championship is a sporting event that is just as fun for spectators as it is for competitors. This year is extra momentous as Oak Mountain hosts the Youth North American Championship as well as the 2026 Youth & Junior Cross National Championship alongside the World Cup stop- The North American Championship. This high energy event will have a festival vibe all weekend long with food, music, art installations, and some of the best vendors around.

Independence Day Festival: Sweet Home 250 at American Village - July 3 & 4

The Southeast's newest women's mountain biking event is making its debut in Shelby County!
