Beeswax Creek on Lay Lake continues to host The Alabama Bass Trail Fishing Tournament as one of its prime fishing locations on the 10-lake trail series. Two divisions make up the series and Lay Lake is part of the South Division. The Tournament each year typically attracts more than 210 boats, with 420 anglers competing for cash payouts and equipment. With Beeswax increased parking for boats and trailers, the facility can easily accommodate larger tournaments.
