Getting Involved
Shelby County's boards and commissions offer the public a chance to become involved in different aspects of local government while serving the community. In all, the county has more than 20 of these volunteer boards and commissions, with many citizen volunteers advising the County Commission on a variety of matters. Each position is unique to the objective of that board or commission.
