Benchmark Web, a part of our Pioneer case management system, will provide attorneys the ability to electronically file certain new cases and file additional pleadings in their already existing cases. Attorneys will be able to view their own cases and most images will be available.
To begin e-Filing, attorneys will request an account log-in either by completing and submitting the online form or completing and submitting the downloaded form by email or fax. Once the attorney receives their account log-in, the attorney will be ready to e-File on the Shelby County, Alabama Probate Court website at judicial.shelbyal.com/Web.
Initial filings will require payment of court costs by Credit Card through the Benchmark Web system. Court costs on subsequent filings in existing cases will be handled throughout the case, at the next hearing or at the conclusion of the case. All online payments will incur a convenience fee.
